Why
it’s
different!
Pat Mastors brings to WPRO more
than 20 years as a reporter and anchor at Providence television news stations.
Mary-Ann Connor brings a broad background in banking and marketing. Beyond
that, they’ve been close friends since their college days at the University
of Rhode Island. Together they offer a unique blend of intelligence, wit and
thought-provoking commentary to AM 630 WPRO,
southern New England’s award-winning all-talk news station.

it started!
Pat
was hosting a talk show on WPRO called “RadioGirlfriends
with Pat
Mastors”. Described by some as “’The
View’ on radio," the show offered
an exciting chance
to work with her four close friends, Katie
Smith, Kathy and Suzan Connor
(sisters), and Mary-Ann Connor (married to
the Connor sisters’ first
cousin). In August of 2007, Pat and Mary-Ann switched hats
to host a news program at WPRO, carving
out new territory for the award-winning news and talk news
station. The “RadioGirlfriends” still
hang out and vacation together… only not on the radio.
